Job Summary :
The Institute for Biomedical Informatics is seeking a Programmer Systems Analyst to join our team. The potential for AI and other technical innovations to broadly impact healthcare has never been higher. This means our ideal candidate must have a strong fundamental understanding of data analysis, machine learning, and AI-based tools. Most importantly, candidates must have a desire to learn, develop, and apply new technologies, a high tolerance for task switching, and an internal drive to push the boundaries of accepted technical conventions.
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Performs in-depth data analysis
- Troubleshoots errors as needed including database, server, and / or performance issues
- Creates statistical reports and distributes to end users and stakeholders as appropriate
- Assists end users with any technical questions or issues
This position will follow a hybrid schedule.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities :
Knowledge of open-source machine learning tools, and high-level languages, such as Java, C and Python.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? :
Preferred Education / Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Data Science and one or more years experience in a related area preferred.
