What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Assistant position at InsideHigherEd?
Position OverviewWe are seeking two motivated student assistants to assist with the recruitment of participants, for a project-based assignment. The student assistants will work under the guidance of the project principal investigator, Dr. Nataliya Bredikhina, to collect contact information of NCAA coaches and athletics staff and send out recruitment emails to student-athlete support staff and student-athletes. The positions are available for four weeks from around mid-February to late March, with a commitment of 8 hours per week. The pay is $15 per hour (i.e., $480 for 4 weeks). This is a great opportunity for students interested in topics related to student-athlete affairs and / or research.
Per the State of Kansas, student employees may hold concurrent appointments not to exceed maximum appointment and hours worked levels . However, concurrent student appointments must be of matching FLSA designation (exempt / salaried or non-exempt / hourly).Job Description
- 80% = participant recruitment
- 10% = training
- 10% = reporting
