Regular Part-Time, Non-Exempt
$12 per hour
Number of positions available: 1
Actively hiring for Summer 2025
- Ability to commit a minimum of 10hrs/week during the school year, with a preference of 12-15hrs/week.
- Students are eligible to work up to 40 hours/week during the summer, based on departmental needs. Preference given to students eligible to work a minimum of 20hrs/week.
Are you a K-State student interested in a flexible work schedule, competitive pay, and supporting the University? The Student Philanthropy Assistant provides support to Kansas State University Student Foundation, impacting strategic student philanthropy initiatives.
Scheduling
- Schedule and update meeting reservations and provide meeting support
- Schedule annual election and transition related meetings with executive team members and advisors
Student Opportunity Award (SOA) administrative support
- Plan and lead weekly review process of Student Opportunity Award (SOA) applications. Monitor the SOA email in-box and handle all incoming messages in a timely and appropriate manner
- Maintain records of award distributions and compile reports as needed
General Program Support
- Track and submit all Student Foundation related expenses
- Provide membership roster updates to the Alumni Association
- Maintain an accurate K-State Proud t-shirt inventory for campaigns and pop-up shops
- Attend all general membership meetings and attend executive team meetings as needed
- Conduct annual review of bylaws and recommend any necessary updates
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in coursework at Kansas State University
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with private information
- Data entry with accuracy with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong customer service skills, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal abilities
