Responsibilities
Maintains withdrawal records and files. Communicates with Financial Aid, Colleges and Athletics regarding withdrawal inquiries. Provides customer service via phone,
email and direct contact. Assists with the processing of withdrawals which includes, but not limited to scanning, emailing confirmations letters and filing. Provide hard copies of withdraw packets as needed.
Researches, develops, maintains and assists with implementing policies and procedures related to the automation of the withdrawal process. Assists with
explaining the withdrawal process and gaining details about the student
- s situation to assess the appropriateness to continue the withdrawal process or make referrals
as appropriate.
Advocates for students and parents faced with interruption of University enrollment. Assists students with completing withdrawal processes for a variety of reasons
including but not limited to medical issues, family death, involuntary call to military duty, Natural Disasters and / or personal / family crises. Assesses fee and grade
liabilities according to University policies and procedures and assists students with understanding these liabilities.
Maintains high level of contact with students with internal / external University Constituents. Communicates highly confidential information to and from physicians,
psychologists, victim advocates, counselors and other relevant parties. Researches, prepares and communicates responses to inquiries related to withdrawal processes
and procedures.
Coordinates withdrawal processes with other University constituents. Assist with preparation of reports and statistical data related to withdrawals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, or Counseling with two years' experience in related area.
