Job Summary :

The student will help with the analysis of the data collected in the Dr. Palli laboratory using MS-Excel and other specialized software. Palli lab works on a variety of projects focusing on insect physiology and genetics. Some outlined opportunities are :

A) Gain first-hand experience in areas of entomology and molecular biology, including DNA / RNA isolation, PCR, cell culture and microscopy.

B) Assist with insect rearing and maintaining transgenic lines.

C) Opportunities to participate in field studies and exciting research projects.

D) Boost your resume / CV with laboratory experience for graduate school or your career.
