Job Summary The student will help with the analysis of the data collected in the Dr. Palli laboratory using MS-Excel and other specialized software. Palli lab works on a variety of projects focusing on insect physiology and genetics. Some outlined opportunities are :
A) Gain first-hand experience in areas of entomology and molecular biology, including DNA / RNA isolation, PCR, cell culture and microscopy.
B) Assist with insect rearing and maintaining transgenic lines.
C) Opportunities to participate in field studies and exciting research projects.
