Team Accountant

Position Summary

Team Accountant with excellent communication skills (verbal/written) and positive attitude needed for local accounting firm located in Richland, WA. Responsibilities include reconciliation of accounts, payroll processing, and filing of state and federal returns, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Performing basic accounting procedures, e.g. A/R, A/P
• Filing of State and Federal Returns
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Payroll Processing
• Financial Statement preparation
• Client Communication
• Strong attention to detail and ability to use independent judgement

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field (Preferred)
• 3 Years QuickBooks Experience (QBD and QBO)
• 2 years progressive accounting experience in public accounting or similar work environment
• Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Analytical skills with particular attention to detail

Compensation

• Competitive pay based on experience. Pay range is $25.00 - $45.00 (DOE).
