Role: Accounting Manager
Location: Marrero, LA
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA designation required.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), and financial reporting requirements for publicly traded companies.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Sage X3 experience is a plus, however, not required.
- Experience with supervising team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Proven experience in conducting financial analysis and interpreting complex financial data.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.

Day to Day:
- Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform complex reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions.
- Monitor and review the company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage banking relationships and bank accounts and oversee monthly bank reconciliation process.
- Oversee revenue recognition and revenue accounting including analyzing application of ASC 606
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
