Architect

We are seeking a Mid-Level Architect to join our Factory Architecture Team. We are looking for thoughtful individuals with excellent communication, design skills, and technical expertise. The Factory Architects roles are to help design, coordinate, and execute some of the most technically complicated factory spaces in the world. The ideal candidate will have between 5-15 years of professional experience (5-8 preferred).

Day to Day:

• Perform architectural assignments with general direction, no immediate supervision, and work independently as well as collaboratively with others toward design and technical solutions.
• Assist in developing solutions for projects in all phases
• Provide production of design drawings, presentation drawings, and digital models in support of design teams
• Research products and materials, review existing projects, and those under construction to inform the production of design documentation
• Contribute to the effective performance of the project ream regarding quality, schedule, and budget
• Assist in the execution of construction administration responsibilities
• Assist in the review and execution of design documents that meet building code and accessibility code

Qualifications:

• Professional architectural degree and a minimum of 5 to 15 years of experience (5-8 years is sweet spot and ideal here)
• Background with large, complex facilities - Hotels, Highrise buildings/skyscrapers, Museums, Institutional buildings, hospitals, semiconductor fabs
• Construction admin background - understands construction terminology and projects
• Proficient with Revit
• Enscape, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft office
• Highly motivated and proactive
• Well-organized and detailed oriented
• Excellent team communication skills
• Experience in detailing and execution of construction documents with minimal supervision
• Experience with complex multi-phased projects
• Experience with complex MEPFP coordination and BIM coordination
• Licensed Architects are strongly preferred
