What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Intelligence Developer position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our clients' team in Stamford, CT. This person will be responsible for interacting directly with business stakeholders to collect and define requirements for a variety of projects. This person will listen to and understand issues and recommend ways to solve these problems. This person should be able to use SQL to analyze data and be able to present it to high level stakeholders to show them different solutions. Work directly with business stakeholders to own the discovery and MVP implementation of low to medium scale / complexity projects. Work directly in the database to create initial prototypes of new metrics or reporting. Share results with stakeholders, detect and triage initial issues and concerns, iterate, and recommend more effective approaches. This role will be performed 4 days a week on-site in Stamford. The pay range for this role is 40-50 / hr.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3 years of experience in an analyst role.
- Strong SQL experience - creating stored procedures, analyzing data, writing queries, etc.
- Experience working with large sets of data.
- Experience handling independent projects (gather and document requirements, initial / MVP implementation).
- Skilled in gathering, analyzing, and presenting data to senior leadership.
- Excellent communication skills including good documentation and upward communication.
