What are the responsibilities and job description for the Category Advisor position at Insight Global?
We are seeking a highly skilled Category Advisor to join one of our retail clients.
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate closely with external and internal teams to forecast volume and allocate investments effectively.
Managing Planograms to increase customer purchases
Act as a resource for external stakeholders, particularly in partnership with the client, to drive category growth.
Engage in modular changes and resets, working alongside buyers to align strategies for shelf sets based on shopping behavior and market velocity.
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to NDA agreements while building relationships that influence decision-making for category success.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a category advisor, specifically with retail.
Strong understanding of consumer packaged goods (CPG) and familiarity with client processes, including planogram management.
Need to be comfortable using excel
Comfortable with JDA - planogram drawing program
Experience working with Luminate Charter
Well versed Circana data and other data sets
Open-minded, self-starter attitude with the ability to drive change as if managing their own business.
Proven track record of influencing decisions and fostering growth within a category.
