A school in Cincinnati is looking for a CFO to join their team. The Chief Financial Officer serves as a member of the Leadership Team and reports directly to the President. The CFO provides the President, Finance Committee and Board of Trustees detailed financial forecasts and works in partnership with the President to implement the school’s strategic plan, school goals and initiatives as outlined by the President. This individual is the supervisor of the Business Operations Office and works with the President and department chairs in the preparation of financial forecasts, operating and capital budgets, collection of tuition and administration of financial aid. Responsibilities of the CFO include oversight and direction of the annual budget, annual CPA review or audit, and oversight of business and accounting practices, tax-related reporting, long-range forecasting, HR, facilities and risk management activities of the school.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degreein accounting, finance or related field, Master’s degree a plus
- 5 – 7 years’ experience in non-profit accounting, experience with endowment accounting highly desirable.
- 3 – 5 years’ of management level experience supervising personnel
