What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cisco Network Engineer position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is seeking a Senior, Secret Cleared Network Engineer to join our dynamic team to support a Federal Client. This candidate will be responsible for Architecture, Engineering and Administrative duties to support the overall Network and will be one of the two senior Network Engineer Leads. This opportunity is based out of Fairfax, VA, and will be on site. Additionally, this opportunity offers quick interviews with quick feedback and lots of room for growth and support, as there are 7 years left on the program.
MISSION
- This program is an enterprise-level initiative to transform the clients IT infrastructure and operating environment by establishing enterprise capabilities utilizing DevSecOps practices and incorporating a certified, agile-at-scale methodology. This enterprise approach will enable the client to promptly respond to emerging needs with faster delivery, increased reliability, and minimal downtime. This initiative will modernize the clients legacy IT systems and networks to enhance security, usability, and accessibility to better meet the business requirements of the clients community.
MUST HAVES
- Secret Clearance (can hold any clearance higher)
- Ability to obtain and pass a DEA Suitability Clearance
- 5 years of experience with hands-on enterprise network experience
- Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP, CCNA) - this is preferred, not required
- Experience using CISCO
- Experience with Firewalls
Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
