Title: Cityworks Administrator
Pay: $50-$56/hr
Length: 12-month contract
Location: Prefers Charlotte, NC - open to remote for candidate with Cityworks experience
Must haves:
• 5 years of experience in business analysis, work order and asset management concepts, and information technology support.
• Knowledge of Cityworks asset management systems, SQL programming languages, Client-server technology and applications, basic database structure, technical systems analysis, and design.
• Skilled in analysis and troubleshooting, customer service, and delivering group and one-on-one training.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Job Description and Duties:
This position will assist in administering CLT’s work order and asset management system (Cityworks). This position is responsible for analyzing end user business requirements, defining scope and requirements of projects, developing project work plans, and leading major project plan components related to Cityworks. Additional responsibilities may include providing advanced application support, training, and developing and maintaining standards and procedures.
• Interfaces with department stakeholders and Cityworks end users to define needs, communicate technology changes, and fulfill Cityworks requests.
• Responds to and prioritizes customer requests related to CLT’s work order and asset management system.
• Provides user support for Cityworks Desktop and Mobile.
• Interfaces with end users on existing business processes and design for new business processes that can be implemented using Cityworks.
• Develops and runs reports, creates and manages account permissions, application/system configuration, troubleshoots problems and facilitates solutions, cooperates with vendors, and communicates with Cityworks users.
• Creates dashboards and metrics for work order activity and other data of interest.
• Performs quality assurance activities for Cityworks, including test plan development and execution, testing, and tracking issues and solutions.
• Responsible for the operation of Cityworks including system upgrades, server maintenance, and ensuring the system meets guidelines outlined in the City of Charlotte’s Information Security Handbook.
• Designs and facilitates end user training sessions. Creates user guides and explains complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
