Computer Aided Design Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Computer Aided Design (CAD) Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) systems.
Job Description:
- Develop knowledge in specific areas of drafting, such as electrical, mechanical, or civil drawings.
- Operate a CAD system to create diagrams, schematics, layouts, and multi-view drawings to scale.
Responsibilities:
- Diagram electrical, mechanical, and civil drawings to scale.
- Perform mathematical, geometrical, and minor engineering computations.
- Scale engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Create detailed design drawings for substation, relay, and line design job packages.
Requirements:
- Diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with CAD software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
