What are the responsibilities and job description for the Configuration Management Specialist position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is seeking a talented and experienced Configuration Management/Data Management Specialist to support Government programs for the DoD. This role will support multiple DoD programs and internal hardware production efforts. The Specialist will also be expected to support additional program functions, such as design and safety verification, Acceptance Data Package development, and Physical and Functional Configuration audits.
Duties Include
- Develop and maintain program Applicable Documents Lists
- Develop and maintain program data libraries in Sharepoint
- Work with Program Managers and project engineers to develop and deliver contract CDRL requirements
- Maintain and track issuance of drawing and document numbers
- Administer the document and drawing release desks for multiple programs
- Develop and transmit deliverable data and document packages
- Develop and administer drawing and document approval workflows
- Develop and track design verification items
- Develop and maintain the Design Requirements Traceability Matrix and the Design Verification Tracking Matrix
- Conduct Configuration Control Board meetings for design verification items and safety hazard controls and verifications
- Develop and maintain the Safety Verification Tracking List
- Develop data packages for the Physical and Functional Configuration Audits
- Assist manufacturing organization with development and control of job tracking documents
Requirements
- Previous experience in program configuration and data management
- Experience with hardware configuration management
- Eligible and ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

- Experience with Arena/Omnify software
- Active Secret Security Clearance
