Corporate Accountant

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
• Three (3) years of related experience is required; One (1) or more years of equivalent industry experience is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
• Excellent math skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Excel

Plusses:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• JDE and FAS experience

Day to Day:

Insight Global is hiring an Accountant II for an electronics engineering and manufacturing services client. The Accountant II will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the accurate valuation of inventory and reporting accuracy of other assets and liabilities. They will handle tasks such as reconciliations, more complex financial analysis, and oversee specific accounting processes.

• Prepare and complete financial transactions (AR/AP/GL/Fixed Assets/Interco/Address Book/Banking etc.) timely and accurately according to accounting processes and procedures.
• Respond and resolve operational issues that arise and ensure stakeholders' requirements are met.
• Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy, as well as extraordinary or unusual items.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to comply with SOX requirements.
• Prepare weekly and month-end journal entries to ensure accurate account balances.
• Work on special continuous improvement projects as requested to resolve problems or generate productivity improvement.
