Custodian

An employer in Westminster, CO is looking for a EVS Technician to perform duties supporting trash and linen services as well as housekeeping and related activities with the focus on patient exam and inpatient rooms, surgery, utilities, and the general environment. Responsible for continuously demonstrating proficiency in basic cleaning skills used in patient, staff, office, clinic, or visitor areas. Routinely demonstrates both knowledge and skill in the safe use of chemicals, equipment, cleaning techniques and infection control methods necessary to maintain the departments established quality standards. Demonstrates competence in the safe handling and removal of medical and hazardous waste. Maintains the physical environment of the hospital at the highest level of cleanliness, both from an appearance and infection control standpoint.

Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm and rotating weekends

Desired Skills and Experience

-2 years of experience within housekeeping or hospital setting

- Great customer service skills and ability to interact with hospital staff

- Reliable and punctual

Compensation:

$18.00/hr to $20.00/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
