Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and teachable Desktop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and presentation skills, a solid background in troubleshooting and fixing PCs (and possibly Macs), and experience with printer mappings and network support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktop computers, including troubleshooting and fixing hardware and software issues.
- Assist with printer mappings and ensure printers are properly connected and functioning.
- Support network-related issues and ensure smooth connectivity for all users.
- Communicate effectively with team members and end-users, providing clear and concise instructions and updates.
- Present technical information in an understandable manner to non-technical users.
- Be available for occasional weekend and after-hours work as required.
- Able to travel from Jupiter to Boca Raton (Must have a car)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in desktop support, including troubleshooting and fixing PCs (experience with Macs is a plus).
- Strong understanding of printer mappings and network support.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , etc.) are a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
