Must Haves:
- 4 years of electrical design experience
- Experience designing in AutoCAD 2D
Plusses:
- Understanding of utilities & power controls, not just switches & outlets
- Experience in the energy, utilities, oil, gas or power space.
- Experience using other design tools such as SolidWorks, Revit, Creo, AutoCAD 2D
Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a mid to high-level electrical designer for a client in the utilities (Natural Gas) space. This electrical team works in a cradle to grave model, and this individual will work alongside other designers and engineers on the team, and will create drawings from scratch in AutoCAD. They will be defining project expectations, setting up changes when necessary, selecting the correct equipment, and issuing IFC drawings for field.
Salary : $30 - $35
