Must Haves :

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Strong experience in design review and generator step-up transformers (GSU).
- Experience in writing specifications for electrical projects.
- Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and within cross-functional teams.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
- Specification development and / or technical writing experience.
- High voltage equipment experience.
- Powerplant experience.
- Power generation experience (hydro or otherwise).
- Familiarity with ETAP or SKM software.
- Arc flash experience.
- System protection experience.
Day to Day :
Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in design review, generator step-up transformers (GSU), and transmission systems. This role requires the ability to write specifications, review designs, and work across cross-functional teams. Experience in nuclear and hydro backgrounds is highly desirable.
Compensation : 50 / hr to $60 / hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
