What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Manager position at Insight Global?
Our client is a leading global provider of test and assurance solutions for networks, cybersecurity, and positioning. Their Facilities Team is seeking a Facilities Manager to provide support to site staff by ensuring that the facility is working properly and is well-stocked and maintained. Responsibilities include :
Assist the Facilities Director as required with management of the lease portfolio
Coordinate and manage facility functions as needed throughout the global property portfolio
Oversee selection and implementation of new projects from large scale renovations to internal reconfigurations
Provide direction and partnership to vendors and third-party providers and their staff to carry out maintenance and operations according to established standards
Oversee and manage contractors to include site maintenance, repairs / alterations, janitorial services, HVAC, and regulatory compliance
Interface with landlords and its representatives with regards to facility issues
Work within financial accounts payable and has strong business acumen
Become a trusted partner, build strong relationships with business and shared leaders that enhance the employee experience
Plan and participate in all facets of facility new or improvement projects, including identifying and obtaining requirements, conducting bids, financial budgeting & analysis, and working with vendors and consultants
Have good communication skills and responsive
Be independent, flexible, creative to respond to customers and projects with a can do attitude
Continuously identify areas to improve efficiency and drive business to operational excellence
Compensation : 40 / hr to $50 / hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
Previous work with various building trades and / or contractors.
Experience working with diverse stakeholders and outside vendors.
Basic math aptitude / skills and the ability to do measurements.
HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, and / or General Construction experience preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively as well as work independently.
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to travel to other Spirent offices as needed.
Salary : $40 - $50
