JOB DESCRIPTION:
Insight Global is seeking a Field Inspector to supervise the design-build project in Warwick, RI for the repair of 3 bridges. Under the direction of the Chief Inspectors and Resident Engineer apply considerable knowledge of construction, materials, methods and procedures to construction inspection of the project work; ability to maintain field and office records, read and interpret plans and specifications and assist the Chief Inspectors and Resident Engineer as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3 years of civil, highway or other engineering field inspection experience
-High School Diploma
-General computer skills with spreadsheets and construction management Software
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- EIT or PE
- Experience with RIDOT
- NETTCP certification for Concrete Inspector - Concrete Technician, Soils & Aggregate Inspector
- HMA Asphalt Plant Technician Certification
- Nuclear gauge Certification
- Soils and Aggregate Laboratory Technician Certification
- Precast Concrete Inspector Certification
- HMA Paving inspector
- American Concrete Institute (ACI)
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
