What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Services Engineer position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is looking for several 100% Field Service Engineers for our semiconductor client with their home base in Phoenix, AZ (other home bases include Hillsboro, Boise, Austin, Dallas, Albuquerque, Lehi, Manassas). This opportunity will consist of 6-8 weeks deployment to different client sites around the United States, followed by 1 week paid home. Per diem provided.
Qualifications:
- AA or BA within engineering or related field
- Mechanical aptitude including reading and comprehending plans/diagrams/instructions
- Experience working with their hands doing maintenance and troubleshooting using tools including voltmeters.
- 2 years’ experience within field service industry (including industries such as semiconductor automotive, mechanic, aviation, military, etc.)
Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for 20 100% traveling field service engineers to join our team. You will be performing installations, preventative maintenance, and repairs for semiconductor equipment. You will be performing effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads, great attention to detail and adhering to customer rules and policies. You will be communicating with the customer often, so it is important you present yourself professionally. This is a long-term opportunity to grow with a team and mentor future team members. An all-star candidate will have previous hands-on semiconductor tool experience and strong knowledge of engineering processes.
Compensation:
$25/hr to $32/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Salary : $27 - $35
