A client of Insight Global is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team onsite in Portsmouth, VA.
Pay Range:
- $65,000-$75,000 (FA 1)
- $85,000-$105,000 (FA 3)
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 1 to 4 years of experience with financial analysis responsibilities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.
- Experience working with a large ERP system (SAP/PeopleSoft/Oracle)
- Understanding of EVM principles, cost forecasting, and budgeting in high-stakes, fast-moving environments.
- Possess strong analytical skills and understanding of financial concepts to support our financial planning and analysis activities.
Day to Day:
- Project Setup and Maintenance: Contribute to daily project setups and attend meetings to determine contract setups within Costpoint.
- Financial Accuracy and Corrections: Review contracts for financial accuracy, prepare transfers to correct errors, and manage revenue recognition.
- Employee and Expense Management: Track employee travel advances, expense reports, and timesheet approvals.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare weekly Earned Value Management reports, contribute to monthly reporting, and assist in generating the Annual Operating Plan and quarterly forecasts.
- Invoice and Contract Management: Review and approve customer invoices, maintain contract workforces, and validate contract de-obligations.
- Business Intelligence and Internal Controls: Customize reports and assist in implementing internal controls to support organizational growth.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
