The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining optimal fleet equipment levels by analyzing rental and sales backlogs
- Collaborating with senior leadership and the commercial team to meet demand
- Reviewing branch equipment levels and transferring equipment between branches as needed
- Sourcing equipment from global companies and establishing relationships with external equipment suppliers
- Negotiating competitive bids to secure the best possible pricing
- Reducing global shipping costs through partnerships with international shipping companies and freight forwarders
- Working closely with the engineering team to update and publish HIMS Sheets and facilitate semi-annual equipment counts
- Reviewing fleet equipment rentals and re-renting to customers
- Recommending equipment purchases to reduce rentals when appropriate
- Establishing and maintaining reorder minimums and maximums for consumables
- Managing fixed asset lists for book-to-tax reconciliations
- Assuming ownership of national forklift supplier lease and yard truck programs
