What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is seeking for an experience Front Desk Receptionist to join a chiropractic office in Chicago, IL. We are looking for a team player to help run our front desk. Our office handles a high volume of patients daily, and we pride ourselves on providing excellent care and service. Day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Open the office each day, manage incoming messages, and return calls from the previous night.
- Ensure schedules are accurate and up-to-date.
- Greet patients, direct them to the appropriate service and check them out after their appointment.
- Confirm and schedule next appointments, and handle payment transactions.
- Track daily patient attendance, reschedules, and cancellations.
- Complete and maintain a daily closing sheet for collections and other administrative tasks.
- Answer phones, greet patients, handle posting and accounting tasks.
- Multi-task and manage stress effectively while coordinating with various providers.
This position is a direct hire, fully onsite and ranging between $18-20/hr.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a front desk receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a medical office
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Familiar with scheduling software and patient management systems
Nice to Have Skills and Experience:
- Experience with chiropractic systems such as EzBiz or related
- Medical office experience with insurance verification and billing
