Daily Responsibilities:
Insight Global is looking for a Manager of Global Sourcing to join one of its manufacturing customers in the corporate environment that is fully onsite. The Manager, Global Sourcing – North America Chemicals leads the development and execution of sourcing strategies for the NA Chemicals category. They ensure continuity of supply, cost savings, and manage supplier relationships. This role requires expertise in commodity costs, market trends, and technology shifts. Reporting to the Director of Global Sourcing - NA Raw Materials, the Manager supports the Global Category Leader. They manage a team, negotiate contracts, and enforce supplier agreements. The Manager oversees supplier scorecards, compliance, and certification processes. They collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, and Operations for new materials and product improvements. The role involves creating cost models and exploring alternative sourcing opportunities. They aim to reduce excess inventory and optimize supply chain efficiency. The Manager ensures alignment with global sourcing strategies and company goals.
***Compensation: 89-126k
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
