What are the responsibilities and job description for the Healthcare Desktop Support Technician position at Insight Global?
Title: Healthcare Desktop Support Technician
Shift: 8 hours within Monday-Friday 7:00AM- 6:00PM. On call every 7 weeks. 24/7 for 1 week straight
Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire
Pay Rate: Based on years of experience $20 - $30 an hour.
Day to day:
- Trouble shooting consumer services, desktop support, will work on personal computers, workstations, label makers, printers ect. Uses Service Now as the ticketing system. May touch lab equipment, blood equipment, other healthcare related equipment. Will work on propriety software, peripheral designed by vendors. Will help C- Suite as well as Doctors, averaging 8-10 tickets a day.
Must haves:
- 2 years’ experience in desktop support.
- Hospital experience, or exposure to a healthcare setting
- Experience with CERNER or another EMR system
- 1 year experience in an enterprise environment.
- AA Degree
- Experience with Adobe, and MS products.
- Trouble shooting skills.
