Position: Industrial Electrician
Location: Pontiac, Michigan
Duration: 3-month contract hire!
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 2 shift: 2pm-10:00pm
Pay Rate: $36.29/hr- After 90 days increases to $39.92/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Must Haves:
- 8-10 years in an industrial electrician role or automation
- Experience with controller programs such as PLC, Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, and Siemens
- Must have documented notarized letters from previous employers to obtain their union card (Unless they already have their Journeyman card, they don’t need it)
- Experience with pumps, motors, speed, and feed systems
- Experience with Machine repair or mechanic craft areas
- Working knowledge of electrical prints and schematics. Someone who has a good sense of how to diagnose and look at a circuit and know how to break it down.
Day to day:
Insight Global is looking for an Industrial Electrician to join our facilities team to service our automotive client in Pontiac, MI. Main function of this role is to provide necessary skill sets required to perform the maintenance and repair preserve the physical assets of the building, systems, and equipment under the direction of the Facility and Operations Manager. Individuals must have experience working in a commercial environment and must be computer savvy as they will utilize Maximo and Corrigo as their work order management system.
Job Responsibilities:
- Going to be troubleshooting and diagnosing automation systems Manufacturing Process Equipment:
- Tank Farm Operations, Reporting, Maintenance, and Repair Dispensing Equipment
- Compressed Bottle Gas Storage & Distribution Systems
- Compressed Natural Gas Facility
- Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers
- Oil Mist Collectors
- Cold/Hot Thermal Units: Temperature Control, Pressure Control, and Dew Point Control
- Provide and Maintain Spare & Replacement Parts Inventories
- Production Process Central Exhaust Systems
- Clean 7 Clean Room Mechanical Systems Diagnosis & Repair
- Preventative Maintenance (Scheduled maintenance to prevent break down)
- Predictive maintenance (Use of equipment or tests to predict when maintenance will be needed)
- Natural Gas & Water Meters (Including Calibration) Power Systems
- Normal Power to first disconnect
- Emergency power systems o Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) Systems Building Systems
- Building Automation Systems
- Building Monitoring Systems
