What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Technician position at Insight Global?
A partner of Insight Global is looking to add an Industrial Maintenance Technician to their team. The Industrial Maintenance Technician II role ensures the proper operation and maintenance of all utility systems, takes corrective action and repairs equipment as necessary and provides appropriate notification and documentation of all work performed. This position performs general maintenance on mechanical, electrical, refrigeration and various maintenance and repairs within a GMP manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities :
- Adhere to all SOPs, procedures, policies and federal regulations in the operations of the facilities.
- Handle repairs and maintenance on equipment, as well as assigned work orders.
- Install plumbing, mechanical, and/or electrical equipment such as sinks, pumps, circuit panels, refrigeration, WFI, boilers, HVAC chillers, air compressors, motors, etc.
- Maintain inventory to ensure adequate parts and supplies are on hand. Complete purchase requisitions for equipment and parts as needed.
- May assist in special projects and/or construction projects. Duties may include demolition, renovation, and new construction.
- Perform routine Preventive Maintenance on boilers, stills, air compressors, pumps and other assigned equipment.
Requirements:
- Three years previous general maintenance and/or construction experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is preferred
- GMPs and ISO regulation knowledge
- Florida Licensure as a Plumbing, Electrical or Refrigeration Technician required.
Compensation: $50,000 to $54,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education
