We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Machine Shop Foreman to join our team at Insight Global. This role is based in Robesonia, PA and involves working in the Engineered Materials division of a manufacturing company that specializes in metal powders and other specialty products.
As a Machine Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality production while maintaining productivity levels. This includes operating various machine tools such as mills, lathes, and grinders, as well as performing preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machine tools to create parts to exacting tolerances using blueprints, sketches, or shop drawings
- Plan operational sequences and select tooling required to machine parts
- Maintain quality and productivity levels through effective machining techniques
- Ability to write simple programs for short-run parts and edit existing programs with supervisory approval
- Preventative maintenance of production machinery and fabrication of parts for production machinery
- Verify conformance of machined parts to reference documentation using precision measuring instruments
