Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on instrumentation, low-voltage equipment, and panel design for industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have 4-10 years of experience in instrumentation and electrical systems, with a preference for experience in PLC programming (Siemens).
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain instrumentation systems for industrial processes and equipment.
• Develop and review designs for low-voltage equipment and electrical panels.
• Create detailed engineering documentation, including wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, and panel schematics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure instrumentation and control systems meet project requirements.
• Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance support for instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Perform system reliability assessments to enhance performance and minimize downtime.
• Integrate instrumentation systems with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), with a focus on Siemens PLCs if applicable.
• Specify, procure, and review instrumentation and electrical components to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Support installation and commissioning activities, including wiring checks, calibration, and function tests.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety regulations in all design and operational tasks.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-10 years of experience in instrumentation and electrical engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation systems and low-voltage electrical equipment.
• Experience in panel design, including layout, wiring, and integration.
• Familiarity with PLC systems, with a preference for Siemens platforms.
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience as an I&E (Instrumentation and Electrical) or E&I (Electrical and Instrumentation) Maintenance/Reliability Engineer.
• Hands-on experience in Siemens PLC programming and integration.
Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.
Salary : $70 - $80
