Title: Nurse Navigator
Salary Range: $80,000-$110,000
Location:
- 4 days at Windham Hospital (5 founders street, Willimantic CT)
- 1 Day at Plainfield Hospital (584 Norwich Road, Plainfield, CT)
Hours: M-F 8-5
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- 3 years of experience in nurse navigation (oncology preferred)
- Valid Driver’s license
- OCN/CBCN or ability to obtain them within a year of starting (cost will be covered)
Plusses:
- Master’s degree in nursing
- Oncology specific nurse navigation experience
Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Nurse Navigator to join a large healthcare corporation in Eastern, CT. This individual will be navigating patients through their journey with cancer. They will be supporting patients by providing education surrounding their diagnosis, care options, and community resources available. They will also be collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support home health, physical therapy, and post-acute care. This individual will be following patients’ long term through their treatment and needs to be able to connect personally and professionally with patients in a high stress environment.
The working hours are 8-4:30 Monday through Friday across 2 locations. The split will be 4 days in Willimantic and 1 day in Plainfield.
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
