JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join a team full time in Cedar Grove, NJ. This individual will be onsite Monday through Friday working directly with the site leader and other directors. They will oversee the production and planning teams to improve processes and procedures in place. Additional responsibilities include:
- Assists in the development and implementation of the annual capital budget.
- Oversee the planning, design, and construction of capital projects meeting budget and timelines.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; and soliciting feedback from operators.
- Conduct business analysis by reviewing manufacturing forecasts, and monthly and annual reports, and participate in long-range planning strategies to maximize performance while minimizing costs
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or related field.
- Extensive supervisor experience with at least four years of management experience in manufacturing.
- Prior Lean experience and a good understanding of how to lead Kaizen and 5’s events.
- Strong knowledge of FDA, OSHA, and GMP regulations.
- Excellent supervisory, computer, and communication skills
