Job Description
The Project Cost Accountant is responsible for monitoring and assisting in maintaining the financial health of the projects assigned. Maintains accurate and complete records regarding all the financial aspects of the projects, reviewing costs incurred and supporting detailed information. The Project Cost Accountant will oversee day-to-day operations on all activities related to projects, including but not limited to invoicing and true-up of budgeted cost, identifying variances, and addressing gross margin gaps with the operations team. The ideal candidate has a background in accounting within the construction or large-scale restoration industry, excellent attention to detail, and reasonable knowledge of ERP systems. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader who can prioritize, plan, and communicate well with all positions on the Operations Team (i.e., Project Directors, Regional Directors, and Vice President) in all matters related to projects and extended to vendors and subcontractors.
Compensation:
- $75,000 - $85,000 (depending on years of experience)
- Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
- Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
