Description:
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team and manage additional estimating workload. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical and cabling industries, with a strong understanding of project estimation and cost analysis. Responsibilities include preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical and cabling projects, analyzing project requirements and specifications, collaborating with project managers to ensure accurate estimates, reviewing and interpreting blueprints and technical documents, and maintaining and updating cost databases and estimation tools.
Main Requirements:
- 2 years of estimating experience (preferably in the electrical or cabling industries)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Plusses:
- RCDD Certification (Registered Communications Distribution Designer)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
Additional Requirements:
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with estimation software and tools.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Pay Rate: $34-38 / hr depending on experience.
