Hourly Rate: PR 22-25/hr
Required Skills and Experience
- Education: High school diploma; Associate degree preferred
- Certification: IPC certification a plus
- Experience: 2-4 years in a high-tech environment
- Communication: Good communication skills
- Instructions: Able to understand instructions and follow direction with minimal supervision
- Tools: Experience using microscopes, micrometers, CMM, and other tools for inspection
- Software: Proficient in MS Excel spreadsheets and MSWord
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification: IPC certification
Key Responsibilities
- Print Reading: Ability to read prints and drawings to determine critical measurements
- Procedure Understanding: Ability to understand procedures and apply accept/reject criteria to inspection results
- AQL Knowledge: Complete understanding of AQL sampling plans
- Accept/Reject Criteria: Ability to understand and apply accept/reject criteria
- NCR Generation: Ability to generate NCMRs and communicate reasons for rejecting material to all levels of the organization
- Interfacing: Ability to interface with production, engineering, and management to communicate issues that arise during inspection
