TITLE : QA Engineer - 35579348
LOCATION : San Diego, CA (100% on-site)
ANTICIPATED DURATION : 8 months
NOTE : Not able to work on a C2C basis or provide a visa transfer / sponsorship at this time.
As a Core OS Telemetry Tools and Automation Engineer you will be responsible for testing currently shipping and newly developed features. You will be creating test plans, executing manual tests, writing and maintaining automated tests, submitting, triaging, and escalating bug reports of battery life issues. Successful candidates will have excellent organizational skills. You’ll be running and maintaining many different tests at a time across many difference scenarios and need to keep careful track of the results, as well as the creativity and initiative to help us proactively discover battery life issues and areas of improvement. You’ll also have an amazing opportunity to work with cross-functional teams on planning for the next set of cool features which will take our products to the next level.
QA Engineer Requirements :
- Strong understanding and application of scripting and programming languages such as Swift, Python, Bash, and JavaScript
- Experience in writing and maintaining test suites, both automated and manual
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Previous experience with software QA testing and testing methodologies
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of triaging problems
- Ever-present curiosity about emerging technologies
- Creative thinker and strong problem solver
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $65 to $74.50 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
