What are the responsibilities and job description for the RESIDENTIAL INSTALL TECHNICIAN - EVANSVILLE, IN position at Insight Global?
A customer of Insight Global is looking for an Install Technician to support their existing customer base on site in Evansville, IN and the surrounding territory. This individual will be responsible for converting existing customers from older generation systems to their newest products at various residential sites in the local territory. They will utilize their customer service skills to work directly with the customer setting up their new system and getting them cell phone access to the company application for their security system. This individual must be comfortable using their personal vehicle to go to and from the customer sites to the shop location and will have onsite training at the start of their employment. Based on their experience we would be looking to pay between $18 - $21 / hr.

1 year of experience installing security equipment
1 year of professional customer service experience
- Technical training
High School Diploma
Valid Driver's License
Comfortable working 40 hours a week
Familiar with power and hand tools (i. e Screwdrivers, Wire Cutters, and Drills)
Basic understanding of networks and internet (i. e how routers, modems, and mesh points interact and what they are, what is a causes internet lags, etc)
1-2 years of experience with cabling (pulling, testing, terminating)
Comfortable working with smart devices and applications
Salary : $18 - $21
