What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Buyer position at Insight Global?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Buyer to join our procurement team and manage the sourcing of metal and electronic components essential for our manufacturing processes. In this role you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, placing purchase orders, negotiating competitive prices, and providing recommendations to the Supply Chain Manager based off relationship and pricing. This is a highly collaborative environment that values feedback and growth. Experience with high level negotiations and quality vendor relationships is essential. This position pays up to 90k annually (potentially some flexibility for the right candidate)
Must have :
- 5 years experience in procuring metals or electronics
- 2 years working as a buyer in the manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with CNC, sheet metal, or casting
- Experience negotiating with vendors
- Manufacturing exposure
