VMO Governance Analyst II
Brief Description:
The VMO Governance Analyst II is responsible for contributing to the development, support, and maintenance of VMO governance, tooling, workforce enablement, and reporting initiatives. They participate in continuous improvement efforts, monitor and report on compliance with VMO standards, policies, and processes, and participate in the delivery of training.
Detailed Description:
This role requires the individual to be self-motivated, driven, detail-oriented and well-organized. They must thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The team will look to this individual to work with the VMO’s Governance team, the broader VMO, and multiple stakeholders to support the VMO’s governance initiatives and programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support delivery and maintenance of existing programs, materials, tools, training, and reporting.
- Assess existing programs, materials, training, and reports to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Participate in the design, development, and delivery of new programs, materials, training, and reporting supporting governance, workforce enablement, and tooling.
- Plan, schedule, and facilitate meetings within team.
- Perform research and analysis, supporting VMO efforts.
- Effectively organize documentation for ease of access by users.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years’ experience working in a delivery (e.g., BSA, Tester, Developer, etc.) or Value Management Office (VMO) role.
Skills
- Strong experience with SharePoint.
- Ability to create process maps using Visio or similar tools.
- Proficient using O365, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of solution delivery frameworks.
- Proficient in analyzing data and identifying themes and patterns to make draw conclusions and make recommendations.
- Strong technical writing capabilities with the ability to document processes and procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication, active listening, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with team members, colleagues, and across teams.
- Highly motivated with strong critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong ability to build credibility and strong partnerships within and across teams.
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts successfully.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, determine priorities with minimal guidance, and execute in a high-pressure environment.
