Title: Senior Network Engineer
Location: Wichita, Kansas (onsite 5 days a week)
Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire or Permanent (depending on candidate needs)
Salary: $115,000-$145,000
Must-haves:
- Expert Level understanding in Wireless, LAN and WAN.
- Seasoned Engineer with experience supporting complex enterprise networks, or management of network & network security devices like firewalls, proxies, and IPS devices, ISE.
- Experience in Scoping design and practical experience in end-to-end management and execution of network project infrastructure deployment.
- Basic understanding of Meraki and SDWAN technologies.
- Advanced Knowledge on Creating BOM, HLD, LLD.
- Expert knowledge in managing a multi-vendor WAN, multi-protocol routing.
- In depth knowledge and experience on Cisco IOS and to include routing (OSPF), switching and QoS experience
- Security knowledge including Palo Alto or Fortinet Knowledge
Plusses:
- One or more industry certifications such as: CCNA, CCIP, CCNP, Network , Security , GSEC, PCNSE, Etc.
- Cisco ISE & SDWAN knowledge
- Experience with Process Control Networks (PCN), or Managing Security for PCNs- IOT
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools
Day-to-day:
- Insight Global is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work onsite in the Wichita, KS area. This person will be joining the global network delivery team to provide end-to-end quality delivery of assigned complex network projects. This candidate should have experience scoping/designing enterprise level networking projects. This person will be interacting with customers to resolve issues, communicate resolutions, and deliver high quality solutions. The ideal candidate should be able to identify EOL/ EOS network devices and propose appropriate replacement devices by preparing Bill of Materials (BOM). The candidate will experiment and research new technologies and work closely with various vendors to understand technologies and roadmaps. The candidate should have expert level understanding in wireless, LAN and WAN as well as expert knowledge in managing a multi-vendor WAN. This position is looking to start ASAP and targeting a salary of $115,000-$130,000.
