Senior Systems Engineer
Type: Long-term contract with option to badge flip at 6 months or stay on as long-term contractor)
Location: Huntsville, AL - Hybrid 3 days/week on site at Redstone Arsenal (Tuesday – Thursday **Subject to change to full time onsite if government customer mandates based on RTO)
Job Description:
An employer is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer in the Huntsville, AL area. This resource will be responsible for:
- Analyzing customer/stakeholder requirements, decomposing requirements, deriving requirements, and allocating requirements to system and subsystem elements.
- Developing system architectures for new and existing systems.
- Conducting trade studies and performing design research of engineering concepts and explorations to determine optimal requirements and system architecture.
- Developing system/subsystem design documentation such as interface definitions, system schematics, and system description documents.
- Leading or supporting system engineering technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR)
- Assisting in preparation of proposals and presentation materials.
Requirements:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Willing to work on base at Redstone Arsenal
- 5 years of Systems Engineering experience
- Knowledge of MBSE
- Experience with Software Requirements using DOORs
- Ability to generate and manage requirements with no existing documentation
Salary : $70 - $90
