Job Description
An employer is looking for a Sr. Piping Designer for a Natural Gas client in Southern California. This individual will need to be comfortable helping lead other designers in the development of piping design layouts, ensuring adherence to project specs and industry standards. You will utilize AutoCAD Plant 3D and P&ID software to create and modify detailed piping and instrumentation diagrams and 3D piping models. Conduct 30 / 60 / 90 construction reviews to assess the design's alignment and project objectives, budget, and schedule. Must be comfortable with simple drafting tasks of QA / QC packages.
Paying between 60-78 / hr depending on experience

Skills and Requirements
10 years of proven experience within Piping Design
Oil and Gas project experience working with AutoCAD Plant 3D, with a background in P&ID development
Comfortable working independently as well as helping mentor and lead more junior designers
Has done 30 / 60 / 90 construction reviews -Familiar with QA / QC processes and the ability to review and approve simple drafting tasks - Experience working with AVEVA null
