Treasury Specialist

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in treasury, cash handling, or a related role.

• Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Knowledge of ACH, wire transfer processes, and banking regulations.

• Understanding of tax regulations and compliance, including state taxes.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst/Cash Handler to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing ACH transactions, cash deposits, wire transfers, reconciliations, withholdings, unemployment processes, and tax-related activities, including state taxes. This position requires a high level of accuracy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• ACH Transactions: Process and manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Cash Deposits: Handle daily cash deposits, ensuring proper documentation and security.

• Wire Transfers: Execute domestic and international wire transfers, maintaining compliance with all regulations.

• Reconciliations: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and financial transactions.

• Withholdings/Unemployment: Manage payroll withholdings, including taxes and unemployment contributions, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, including payroll taxes, sales taxes, state taxes, and other relevant tax filings. Ensure timely payment of tax liabilities and compliance with all tax regulations.

• Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and records.

• Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Customer Service: Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding treasury operations in a timely and professional manner.

Compensation:

$25/hr to $30/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
