Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee our new Pest Control Branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading a team of technicians.
This role requires a strong background in leadership, pest control experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer support.
Duties
- Manage daily operations of the service department, including scheduling and workflow management.
- Supervise, hire, train and mentor service technicians, providing guidance on best practices of pest control.
- Ensure high-quality service by overseeing technicians in field to ensure proper training is applied.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote service offerings and enhance customer engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, products used, (location and amount) and customer interactions.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards within the service area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pest control as a service technician is preferred.
- Familiarity with service writing processes and customer relationship management.
- Knowledge of products, equipment and industry terminology is desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of technicians.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in servicing homes.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality service.
