Job Overview
We are seeking a Dedicated, Reliable, and Customer focused individuals to join with our operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for Customer Service excellence.
This role requires a hands-on approach, with attention to detail while using some Pest Management products and equipment.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to lifting up to 50 lbs, working with and closely with pests and appropriate products, to ensure proper management technique, run a designated route each day and strive for 100% completion. The pest management applicator will be instrumental in driving team performance and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Learn about the Pest Management Industry with up to date knowledge and skills from manuals, trainers, hands on experience and training meetings.
- Take and pass a state applicators general standards exam and sub category exam (open book exam).
- Manage an assigned route with efficiency.
- Resolve questions/comments/concerns from customers regarding their service agreement or pest issue.
- Stay up to date with training meetings and 1 on 1 reviews to help refine your skills.
- Operate and maintain a company vehicle.
- Sell or upsell services to new or existing customers to earn bonuses on a monthly basis.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, customer interactions and equipment used.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of basic tools to assist you on your route.
- Experience in pest control methods are helpful but not necessary.
- Have great customer service skills.
- Excellent Communication skills towards customers and employees.
- Ability to work with a team, and also alone.
- Dependable.
