Our ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Solidworks to support our manufacturing processes. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and production teams.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using Solidworks based on project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Review and interpret engineering specifications and technical documents.
- Conduct design analyses to verify compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Assist in the development of prototypes and support testing phases.
- Maintain organized documentation of design changes and revisions.
- Provide support in troubleshooting design-related issues during production.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas for process improvements.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Solidworks (minimum 2 years of experience).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, CAD, or a related field a plus
