What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Tutor position at Insight Tutoring?
Hello Everyone! Insight is now hiring more tutors!
Insight Tutoring was established in January 2022 to provide education to students in the NWA area. We currently offer tutoring in 30 subjects, but we are always adding more. We provide a unique teaching style that accommodates each student's learning style.
We are looking for students who attend the University of Arkansas to tutor part-time. We especially need more students to tutor:
-Statistics
-Macroeconomics
-Microeconomics
-Upper-level Finance classes
-Intermediate Accounting 1
-Tax
Qualifications
- Subject Expertise: Students should deeply understand the subject they are teaching and must have made an A in the specific course that the student wants to tutor. They also need to have taken the class at the University of Arkansas.
- Communication Skills: Must be able to convey complex ideas and concepts clearly and succinctly.
- Patience and Empathy: College-level subjects can be challenging, and students may take time to grasp certain concepts. Tutors must inspire students to realize their potential, create relationships, and succeed together.
- Tutors must be able to host group sessions and provide at least 10 hours of availability weekly
